Pork
Our pigs are a mix of heritage breeds like Old Spot and Red Wattle that grow slower, are healthier and naturally produce a more flavorful and nutritious meat than commercially bred and grown pork. They are raised loose in group housing where they enjoy socializing with the herd. They have a barn and plenty of hay to keep warm in during winter and acres of grassy pasture to enjoy in the summer, complete with a pig wallow to cool off in on those hot summer days. Happy pigs make the best pigs and we are sure we provide the best for their well-being. As a result, our pork is tender, juicy, and flavorful.

PASTURE RAISED WHOLE AND HALF SIDE OF PORK
A Whole or Half Pig, USDA Custom Cut and Packaged: $4 per pound hanging weight, plus processing fees ($1.15 - $1.35 per pound) and smoking/curing costs ($2.60 per pound)
The finished cut weight will be 30-40 percent less than hanging weight, depending on your custom cutting selections and how much bone and fat is discarded by the butcher. A typical side of pork costs about $500. It yields about 80 pounds of usable cuts and requires about 3.5 cubic feet of freezer space. Your order of a whole or half pig, is custom cut and packaged by a butcher into the cuts you have selected on your pork cut sheet.
**A deposit of $200 for a half or $400 for a whole pig is required with each order. Balance is due upon pick up from the processor.
